We held
the School Disco on February 24th and it was lovely to see Boo Boo
back on stage with his usual magic, comedy, balloon modelling, dancing
competitions and limbo. We sold a record
number of tickets and everyone had a brilliant time so thanks very much for
your support.
To
celebrate World Book Day we ran a book sale on Friday March 2nd.
All the
books were sold at bargain prices and £31.10 was raised. Recent sales of CD’s and DVD’s also raised
over £30.

What kind of activities
do we run?
Anything
that we think will work and will be fun to do: Summer Fairs, Christmas Fairs
and raffles, nearly-new clothes sales, book sales, cake sales and CD/DVD
donations.
What happens to the
money raised?
Every
penny of the money raised is put to good use. The PTC and the school jointly
agree what the money raised should be put towards.
In
January the PTC contributed £600 towards the new playground markings and every
class teacher received £50 from the money raised at the Christmas Fair. Teachers can use this money to buy the
teaching and classroom materials of their choice. The PTC is raising funds to buy an extra notice
board to be located in the playground.
